Riding Counselor- summer ~
Skyland Camp for Girls
Location: Clyde, NC
Description of Job: Riding counselors help maintain the barn and horses, teach riding to all skill levels under the supervision of the riding director, and help in the planning and organization of the horse show. This is an ideal position for first-year students looking to gain instructing experience. Riding counselors are also cabin counselors, and work with one or two other counselors to directly supervise 8-12 campers of the same or similar age group and works with the entire staff to plan and lead all-camp activities, including evening clubhouse, hikes, cultural events, and campouts.
Qualifications: - At least 18 years of age.
- Documented training and experience in horseback riding, with current certification (or pursuit of certification) in horseback riding instruction highly desired.
- Must be able to obtain current certification in First Aid/CRP, submit medical forms prior to the first day of work, and interact positively with all ages.

Lifeguard/Swim Instructor ~

Description of Job: Working as one of Camp's waterfront specialists, you will provide swim instruction and lifeguarding to girls or boys, aged from 7 to 15 (from Monday to Friday).
