Description of Job: Autism Bridges, located in Bedford, NH, provides individualized therapy for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Under the guidance of a B.C.B.A. Supervisor, a Therapists implements one-on-one behavioral intervention programs in the childs home, using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and serves as an instructional shadow in school settings. Autism Bridges provides comprehensive training on Applied Behavior Analysis, discrete trial teaching techniques, management of maladaptive behaviors, social skills development, and data collection techniques needed to implement the clients program. Therapists who demonstrate strong ABA knowledge and communication skills have significant opportunities to advance their careers within the organization.
Qualifications: Educational Requirements:
Minimum two years college undergraduate or equivalent experience (preferably studying Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Speech, or related fields)
Therapeutic Skills:
Patience
Ability to work well with special-needs children
Ability to accurately record data
Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and independently Ability to manage a flexible therapy schedule at multiple locations
Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
Other Requirements: Have means of transportation, license to drive and proof of valid insurance
No prior criminal history
